The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is an impartial, neutral and independent organization whose exclusively humanitarian mission is to protect the lives and dignity of victims of armed conflict and other situations of violence and to provide them with assistance.
The ICRC Regional Delegation for Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay, based in São Paulo, is looking for a qualified candidate to work in the post of:
Talent Attraction Officer

The Regional Delegation in Brasilia works to respond to the needs of people affected by armed violence, promotes International Humanitarian Law (IHL) and Human Rights applicable to the police service. Our institution works with six operational priorities in the region covered by the Regional Delegation: the humanitarian impacts of armed violence in general and on essential public services in particular, missing persons and their families, migration, detention, cooperation with the Movement, and the promotion of international humanitarian law and human rights, where applicable.

Purpose of daily activities:
The Talent Attraction Officer is responsible for marketing the ICRC and sourcing potential future staff members. S/he will support the organization's efforts to hire the right profiles for the short, middle and long term, in all fields of activity and in line with operational needs, using the most effective and innovative practices/tools.

Description of the position:
In collaboration with internal/external partners, as Talent Attraction Officer, you will:

  • Roll out our Talent Attraction Strategy in line with the Organisation's global and local recruitment needs;
  • Deliver services based on our customer & data-driven approach for Talent Attraction: 1) Direct Sourcing, 2) Talent Engagement, 3) Market Intelligence;
  • Craft and curate humanitarian content to build and engage with talent communities including professionals, associations, diasporas, alumni, Universities, etc.;
  • Actively participate in global projects for team and unit's continuous improvement;
  • Embrace and nurture collaboration within the Red Cross movement (Nationals Societies and the IFRC) as well as with other humanitarian Organisations;
  • Represent the ICRC during webinars, conferences, workshops, and recruitment fairs;
  • Deliver quarterly and annual reporting on your activity and budget management;

Knowledge and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, digital marketing and/or communication;
  • MBA/Specialization in HR or Marketing is a plus;
  • Experience in recruitment, talent sourcing, employer branding or/and HR Marketing within an international set-up;
  • Experience in NGOs or Humanitarian Organizations will be a differential;
  • Great command of written and spoken English and any other ICRC language including Spanish, French, Arabic, Portuguese or Russian;
  • Excellent digital literacy such as MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Availability for national and international travels;
  • Hold a work visa in Brazil or be a citizen of the MercoSul countries and associated countries.
