The ICRC was present globally during the conflict, with delegations on every continent.

 In Europe  

Austria, Belgium, Bohemia-Moravia, Bulgaria, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, the Netherlands, Hungary, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom.

 In the Middle East  

Lebanon, Syria, Turkey.

 In Africa  

French Equatorial Africa (Brazzaville), Egypt (Cairo), Ethiopia (Addis Ababa), Gold Coast (Accra), Italian Somalia (Mogadishu), Kenya (Nairobi), Madagascar (Antananarivo), North Africa (Algiers, Oran, Tunis, Tangiers), Rhodesia (Salisbury), Union of South Africa (Pretoria).
