Families of missing persons: responding to their needs

27-09-2010 Report

This report on missing persons is the outcome of dialogue between the ICRC and relatives of missing persons, the authorities, other humanitarian organizations, psychologists, and other relevant parties. The majority of relatives interviewed live in rural communities and are particularly vulnerable owing to their isolation and lack of security and access to basic services.

The results of the survey reveal the difficulties the families still face in their everyday life. The text of the report is available both in Russian and English.
