Syria: Long-term conflict could bring the collapse of the water supply system

Three years of conflict in Syria have caused huge damage to the water supply system in the country. If the conflict continues, there is a real risk of the system deteriorating or even collapsing. David Kaelin, the ICRC's water coordinator in Syria, describes the needs of the people, the displaced in particular, the ICRC's work to ensure access to water and the need to develop and increase these activities.
