LGT Group Supports Families Affected by Quakes

On 28 March, a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, causing devastating loss and destruction, and widespread displacement. Thousands have lost their lives, have been injured and still remain missing. This catastrophe strikes communities, which are already dealing with the effects of ongoing armed conflict and widespread violence.

LGT Group is supporting the ICRC and their local partner Myanmar Red Cross Society in delivering life-saving humanitarian aid: emergency food distributions,  medical supplies and response, repairs and reconstruction of water and other healthcare infrastructure and family tracing and reunification services.

Your donation will be matched by LGT and doubles the impact your support for the people affected by the earthquake in Myanmar:

-    56 CHF provides a monthly food ration consisting of rice, peas, vegetable oil, sugar, salt and canned fish to a family of 5 in the event natural disaster, to meet minimum food requirements.
-    120 CHF would provide 1,000 chlorine tables for disinfection of 10,000 liters of water.
-    300 CHF would provide some 107 persons with blankets.
