In the first half of 2025, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), either independently or in partnership with the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS), responded to urgent humanitarian needs across Sudan.

Present in Sudan since 1978, the ICRC supports people affected by conflict across the country, and promotes international humanitarian law, working independently or with the Sudanese Red Crescent Society (SRCS).

"In the first 6 months of the year, with Sudanese Red Crescent Society and partners, we've reached over one million people. We remain determined to do more wherever & whenever access allows. People of Sudan are at the heart of our humanitarian mission," says Daniel O'Malley, Head of Delegation in Sudan.
