Safer Access to Public Essential Services - report

The ICRC is concerned about the increase of armed violence and its consequences in urban areas in Brazil due to population growth. The Safer Access to Essential Public Services methodology was created to prevent and to mitigate the risks of safety incidents in public services (schools, hospitals, social assistance centers). This report analyzes urban violence in Brazil and introduces the Safer Access methodology the way it is implemented in Brazil.
