The Data BI Reporting Analyst is an expert on Power BI and data visualization, and on digitalization and automation of finance and accounting processes.

She/he will develop interactive dashboards and process automation to support FSS business users.  

Accountabilities and responsibilities

  • Define and develop interactive Power BI dashboards for business reporting needs
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and support in-house created BI dashboards for business users. Do revision on these reports if needed
  • Develop Power Apps tools and Power Automate workflows for digitalizing and automating FSS processes
  • Develop and automate end-user Excel applications and reports (VBA), including requirements verification, design reviews, development and testing, and thoroughly documenting application solutions and processes
  • Create user guides for all Power BI reports and Power Apps developed
  • Train business users on the use of Power BI desktop and Fabric, Power Apps, VBA Macro, SQL, Power Query, Power Automate, etc. 

Robotics process automation

  • Build, test, and deploy RPA bots using appropriate tools to streamline operations. 

  • Identify repetitive, rule-based business processes suitable for automation and design efficient RPA workflows. 

  • Ensure RPA solutions integrate seamlessly with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and VBA macros. 

  • Oversee bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement updates or enhancements as needed. 

Selection requirements

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of BI, SQL, statistical packages, Power BI.
  • At least 5 years working experience in IT related to data warehouse and business intelligence support.
  • At least two years working experience in Robotics Process Automation (RPA)
  • Strong working knowledge in large relational databases and SQL programming. Good knowledge in MS SQL is an advantage.
  • Strong working knowledge in developing Power Apps tools, VBA Macro, and Power Automate workflows for digitalizing and automating
  • Extensive experience in analytic and interactive dashboards is a must.
  • Business Analysis experience an asset.
  • Excellent oral and written command of English.
