The Staff Health Officer 2 is the focal person for all matters relating to the health of ICRC staff (both, mobile and resident) in the Delegation, in line with ICRC staff health strategy, and in collaboration with Regional Staff Health Coordinator. 

S/he promotes and maintains the physical and mental health of ICRC staff.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the design and contextualization of staff health policies and guidelines to support the Philippine delegation
  • Leads and conducts country health risk assessment in annual basis, including partnership with medical facilities for referral and services
  • Designs and implements health promotion and disease prevention plan for the delegation
  • Provides crisis management and mental health & psychosocial support to ICRC staff

Required profile

  • University degree
  • At least six years professional experience in health and allied services, in organizational and/or clinical setting
  • Medical Doctor, Nurse, or any allied healthcare professional
  • Knowledge in private and public health systems in the Philippines
  • Experience in mental health and psychosocial support, occupational health, and medical evaluation
  • Must be amenable to travel around the Philippines
