ICRC and Spain sign donor agreement

Geneva (ICRC) – International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) President Jakob Kellenberger and Spanish Secretary of State for International Cooperation Soraya Rodríguez today signed the Fondo España – CICR de asistencia en contextos humanitarios, an agreement that formalizes Spain's financial support for ICRC operations.
" We welcome this agreement since it formalizes the consistent and significant support Spain has offered the ICRC for its worldwide humanitarian operations, " said Mr Kellenberger following the official ceremony, which was held at ICRC headquarters in Geneva.
