Autonomous weapon systems under international humanitarian law

To coincide with the first meeting of the Group of Governmental Experts of the High Contracting Parties to the Convention on Certain Conventional Weapons on autonomous weapon systems in November 2017, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs published a collection of articles: "Perspectives on Lethal Autonomous Weapon Systems".

Neil Davison, scientific and policy adviser in the ICRC's arms unit, contributed one entitled: "Autonomous weapon systems under international humanitarian law".
