Every year, mines and unexploded munitions kill and maim thousands of people around the world. Today, it is the people of eastern Ukraine who face this hazard. Unexploded munitions come in different shapes and colours. And former combat zones are not the only places where these devices turn up. So the ICRC is working with Red Cross personnel on the ground to help people stay safe.
