First rehabilitation centre opens in north Myanmar
The first physical rehabilitation centre in the northern part of Myanmar has officially opened its doors in Myitkyina, Kachin State. Previously patients would have had to travel more than 20 hours by bus or car to the closest centre.
One of the first patients, Kachin farmer Shadan Jat Naw, stepped on a mine in April when he was on his way back to his field to work. In this video, he shares his story.
