NEW Request for Information regarding the design and prototyping of alternatives to Polypropylene woven bags

05 April 2022

In 2021, the ICRC, together with its Partners UNHCR and WFP, launched a project to identify and test more sustainable alternatives to the polypropylene woven bag that is commonly used as packaging for staple food and other commodity distributed by humanitarian organizations.

With this Request for Information (RFI), the project Partners are now seeking to identify suppliers that have the capacity, expertise and experience to design and prototype such alternatives, and as such that will be involved in the Request for Proposal (RFP) to be issued shortly after this RFI.

This RFI follows a first RFI published in December 2021. If you already replied to the latter, you do not need to reply to this current RFI.

More information is available in the documentation available for download on this page.
