Niger: Thousands of farmers helped in Diffa

Farmers in Niger often take their herds as far as Nigeria or Chad to graze, some even go to Cameroon to sell their livestock.

However, ongoing conflict near Lake Chad has meant these farmers can no longer easily cross borders - putting their main source of income under threat.

With our support, 50,000 families in the Diffa region have had their animals vaccinated to help protect the health of their herd.
