Nigerian women
The armed conflict in Nigeria has forced an estimated two million people to flee from their homes. The fighting has turned thousands of Nigerian women into widows. Some have been subjected to sexual violence and mental abuse. The ICRC is working to respond to the most urgent needs of the affected families.
