Since 2011, the ICRC has been trying to bring water, food and essential items to the victims of the conflict. In cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the ICRC has helped several million people, but it's still not enough.

We do not distribute water directly to 80% of the Syrian population. It is thanks to these efforts that 80% of the Syrian population now have water that is safe to drink.
