ICRC deplores civilian deaths in Jammu and Kashmir

Geneva (ICRC) - The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) deplores the death of close to one hundred civilians and the wounding of dozens of others in the latest wave of violence that has swept Jammu and Kashmir. It reminds all those bearing weapons that the civilian population must be respected at all times.

The ICRC is deeply concerned about the humanitarian implications of the violence that has been ravaging this region in recent months.
