Violence against health care through the ages: A guided tour

Placed for the month of August along Lake Geneva, 94 powerful photographs portray both the impact of violence directed against medical personnel, facilities and vehicles and the struggle to provide medical care during war. Former ICRC war surgeon Camillo Oscar Avogadri has worked in Afghanistan, Iraq, the Democratic Republic of Congo and Somalia. In this four-minute video, he shares his experiences of working in conflict zones and his thoughts on the photos.
