At the end of November, the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement hosted its first-ever TEDx event, called TEDxRC². It was an overwhelming success with more than 550 participants in Geneva and a worldwide webcast audience. One of them was Alberto Cairo, who runs the ICRC's orthopaedic programme in Afghanistan.
