Jamal Qawariq, 49, is a Palestinian farmer from Awarta village, near Nablus. Qawariq worked with the International Committee of the Red Cross between 2007 and 2010, when the organisation developed an economic security project to rehabilitate agricultural lands inside the eastern valley of Awarta.
