Patricia Danzi, ICRC's Regional Director for Africa, says ICRC can bring a humanitarian perspective to the Belt and Road Initiative. ICRC has been present in some of the Belt and Road countries for many years and has done the ground work for development. She believes that ICRC can do a lot to help the initiative to succeed in those difficult war-stricken countries.
