Iraq: Escaping Fallujah

29 June 2016

Around 85,000 people escaped Fallujah during the fierce fighting that recently took place. They sought safety in nearby camps, like in Amiriyat Al Fallujah. Among the people living there is Fawziya, who has already spent one year in the camp and Abu Salam, who had to leave all his belongings to flee.

We are working in camps outside Fallujah, delivering food and other essential items to 40,000 people over the last few weeks.
