Lebanon: Helping vulnerable people invest in what they need

Ibrahim is one of many Lebanese forced to flee the conflict in Syria and return to Lebanon. Finding a job is tough, and he struggles to make ends meet. The ICRC is helping him, and others like him, by providing food and essential household items such as blankets, mattresses, food, hygiene supplies, tarpaulins and jerrycans.

In addition, the ICRC is helping the most vulnerable among Lebanese returnees, and their host communities, through a "cash assistance programme" that enables people to invest in what they need most.
