Malaysia: 15th national IHL moot court competition

Since 2004, the ICRC Kuala Lumpur has partnered with local university to organise International Humanitarian Law moot court competition where students must argue prosecution and defence of a fictional war criminal charged before the International Criminal Court. The winning team will go to the International Humanitarian Law moot court competition for the Asia-Pacific Region in Hong Kong.

Co-organised by the ICRC and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), the National IHL moot court competition this year, expects the participation of law students from 10 public and private universities. In its 15th edition, the competition will take place from 17 to 18 November 2018 at Ahmad Ibrahim Kulliyyah of Laws, IIUM.
