Zimbabwe: Inmates are beating the cold by making their own jerseys

From 2016, inmates in Zimbabwe prisons will keep the cold away by wearing jerseys that they produced themselves.

This follows a project jointly initiated by the ICRC and the Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) which led to the donation of 18 knitting and sewing machines as well as provision of training to ZPCS officers and inmates. In this video, we follow the process of how inmates and officers make a jersey.
