The Treaty on a Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone in Central Asia (Semipalatinsk Treaty) and the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons (TPNW) share a common objective: achieving a world free of nuclear weapons in the interests of global peace and security.
