The Health Care in Danger Campaign film receives a web award


"Health Care in Danger – the human cost" movie which shows the tragic consequences of the violence against health-care in armed violence is a winner of Lovie Awards – a European competition honouring excellence on Internet.

The film was selected by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences amongst 2'000 videos from more than 20 European countries and honoured in the category "Public Service & Activism. It also received a "People's Lovie" - a recognition from people who were able to vote online for their preferred candidates.

"Health Care in Danger – the human cost" gives voices to doctors, nurses, ambulance drivers and patients who suffer from lack of security in conflicts and other emergencies. The film also highlights how medical, military and humanitarian organisations are coming together to find new approaches and new solutions.
