ICRC in the Philippines - Delegation newsletter

The ICRC has been working in the Philippines for over 50 years, visiting people detained in connection with internal conflicts or other situations of violence. Although detention work continues unabated, since violence erupted in 2008 the ICRC and Philippine Red Cross have been working together to distribute food rations and household essentials to displaced families in evacuation centres in Central Mindanao.
