Russia: Displaced Ukrainian children go back to school – fully equipped

Displaced Ukrainian children in southern Russia have received back-to-school kits from the ICRC.

A new school year has started for many children displaced from eastern Ukraine to southern Russia. For their parents, this means additional expenses they can barely afford.

Working closely with the Russian Red Cross and local authorities, the ICRC is providing school supplies for the most vulnerable of these displaced families.

Alina is currently living in the Russian town of Taganrog. She's one of the Ukrainian children who received a school bag full of supplies from the ICRC. In this video, she tells us she wants to be a teacher!
