Malaysia: 7th national IHL role play competition 2022
Since 2015, the ICRC Kuala Lumpur has been partnering with local universities to organize the IHL role play competition, which is designed to take International Humanitarian Law (IHL) out of the classrooms and to encourage students to demonstrate their IHL knowledge in different fictional conflict scenarios.
In its seventh edition, the Malaysia national IHL role play competition this year will return to the field.
Open to students from all relevant academic backgrounds enrolled in accredited universities and institutions of higher learning in Malaysia, including participants of the IHL moot court competition, it will take place on 18 November 2022 at the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) campus in Gombak, Kuala Lumpur.
The winning team will represent Malaysia at the 2023 Jean-Pictet Competition in Tirana, Albania.
