After successfully conducting it in diverse contexts for 30 years, the ICRC is launching its flagship course – the Health Emergencies in Large Populations (H.E.L.P.) course – in India in October 2015.
The ICRC has joined hands with the Public Health Foundation of India for the inaugural edition of this regional course (view brochure) and has received the committed support of the Indian Red Cross Society, World Health Organisation as well as the National Institute of Disaster Management.
The course comprehensively addresses all disaster scenarios and equips medical and health professionals in key decision-making positions in the field. The two-week course from 29 October – 8 November will be attended by health professionals from the South Asia and SAARC region.
