South Africa: Using forensics to uncover the fate of the missing

War, migration and natural disasters cause individuals and families to go missing across the African continent.

In each country, it's the responsibility of local forensic experts to use modern tools and techniques to find credible answers about the fate of the missing. This video highlights the impact of the recently launched African School of Humanitarian Forensic Action on forensic experts from 9 African countries tasked to keep searching for answers to help the families have closure and restore the dignity of the missing.
