Kosovo

In Kosovo, the ICRC, in an effort to resolve the issue of missing persons, primarily supports the families in their quest to ascertain the fate and whereabouts of their missing family members. Implementing its humanitarian mandate, the ICRC reminds national authorities of their obligation to provide answers to the families and seeks the support of the international community to achieve results.

The ICRC supports the Red Cross structures in Kosovo with training, funding and technical assistance. It also conducts visits to all places of detention in Kosovo.
