The EA Tool Manager is to be responsible for the ORBUS Product management.

Relationships

  • This role is required to work with a wide variety of teams and people.
  • This role reports directly to the Product Owners.

Accountabilities and responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role are:

  • Manage user access to ORBUS through Azure AD and ORBUS groups
  • Support the Product Owners in designing solutions using standard or specific ORBUS objects, attributes, relationships
  • Support the Product Owners in designing the needed viewpoints and Diagrams
  • Support Product Owners in designing integration with third parties
  • Setup objects, attributes, and relationships in ORBUS according to Product Owners needs
  • Setup and maintain Viewpoints and Diagrams
  • Setup API calls to third parties
  • Monitor ORBUS data quality
  • Maintain ORBUS documentation
  • Support the Change Management Plan and Train new users
  • Escalate any issue to Product Owners
  • Help promoting the understanding of the ArchiMate and BPMN standards and their best practices to users

Education and experience required

  • A university or other post-secondary institution degree in science or computer science
  • Experience working on IT Architectures
  • Experience working with Enterprise Architecture Tools
  • Experience working in Agile (Scrum)
  • Experience working in the humanitarian aid sector is an asset.

Required and desired profile skills

Hard skills

  • ArchiMate – able to use the ArchiMate framework for modelling architectures
  • ORBUS – able to use ORBUS
  • Visio – able to model a diagram using Visio
  • Azure DevOps on premise a.k.a TFS – able to use TFS
  • BPMN – a good understanding about the BPMN standard is an asset

Soft skills

  • Teamwork, communication, and collaboration — must be a strong listener, communicator, and work well in a small team. Must be able to communicate and adapt to different stakeholder groups.
  • Client-focused — must care sincerely about our stakeholder needs and concerns, be able to manage stakeholders across different lines of business.
  • Organization — must be well organize according to many different activity run in parallel.
  • International and multicultural experience — experience in a complex, diverse, or international environment is a plus.
  • Language —strong English (written and spoken) is a must.
