Timor-Leste
In Timor Leste, the ICRC is developing the capability of the authorities to identify people who died during the 1975-1999 conflict and to react to large-scale emergencies. We are promoting international humanitarian law within the armed forces and police and training the Timor Leste Red Cross in community engagement, restoring family links and the management of dead bodies during emergencies.
This country is covered by the regional delegation in Indonesia.
